This paper is a review of Internet of Things (IoT) with standards and industrial state-of-art approach. The purpose is to give insight into concept of “smart living”, a concept that meets requirements of today’s modern individuals and the society. Implementation of this new technology requires new hardware and software installed and run on devices (“things”) connected to the Internet anytime and anywhere. In order to make possible this new technology for wide use, few technological, standards and legal issues need to be solved. Several key companies (such as Intel, Cisco, IBM, etc.) are proposing their own standards both in HW and SW solutions and the time will tell which standard will emerge as a dominant one. Standards are the key for world wide acceptance of this new technology, as well as underlying wireless data technologies such as WiFi, ZigBe, and new emerging 4G and 5G mobile technologies.

Lyme borreliosis (LB) is caused by the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi, which is transmitted to humans by ticks of the Ixodes ricinus complex. It is manifested by a variety of clinical symptoms and affects skin, joints, heart, and nervous system. Neurological manifestations are predictable and usually include meningoencephalitis, facial palsy, or radiculopathy. Recently, a dramatic rise in the number of diagnosed cases of LB has been observed on the global level. Here we show the first case of Lyme neuroborreliosis in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was first presented by erythema chronicum migrans. Unfortunately, it was not recognized or well treated at the primary care medicine. After eight weeks, the patient experienced headache, right facial palsy, and lumbar radiculopathy. After the clinical examination, the neurologist suspected meningoencephalitis and the patient was directed to the Clinic for Infectious Disease of the University Hospital Mostar, where he was admitted. The successful antimicrobial treatment with the 21-day course of ceftriaxone was followed by normalization of neurological status, and then he was discharged from the hospital. This case report represents an alert to all physicians to be aware that LB is present in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the neighboring regions.

Ovaj se rad bavi simbolikom i recepcijom akhitektonskoga pothvata u glavnom gradu Makedonije, projekta Skoplje 2014. Kako bismo razumijeli raznovrsna simbolicka znacenja i recepcije toga projekta, posebnu cemo pažnju posvetiti narativima makedodonskog nacionalnog identiteta koji su prethodili Skoplju 2014. Smatramo da Skoplje 2014 predstavlja monumentalni i spektakularni preokret u službenom narativu makedonskog nacionalnog identiteta. Glavne su teme ovoga rada prekid između prethodnog dominantnog narativa makedonskog nacionalnog identiteta i novog službenog diskursa koji je ponudio i ostvario projekt Skoplje 2014, te multikulturalne stvarnosti Makedonije.

U ovom radu, kao za karakteristican primer iz hemijske kinetike, za reakciju prvog reda, sistem složenih hemijskih jednacina matematickim transformacijama sveden je na sistem homogenih i nehomogenih diferencijalnih jednacina prvog i drugog reda, koje su pogodne za predstavljanje preko elektricne analogije. Nakon toga, posmatrana su elektricna kola sa rednom i paralelnom vezom u kojima su prisutne sve tri karakteristicne otpornosti i to sa i bez strujnog izvora. Primenom Kirhofovih zakona, izvedene su pogodne diferencijalne jednacine u zavisnosti od naelektrisanja, napona i jacine struje, a koje predstavljaju opsti model za uspostavljanje analogije sa ranije izvedenim slicnim hemijskim jednacinama za određivanje koncentracije jedinjenja, u kojima su ukljucene i konstante brzine reakcije. Na kraju, na primeru jedne od karakteristicnih izvedenih elektricnih relacija u diferencijalnom obliku, dat je tabelarni prikaz analogije između elektricnih i velicina koje figurisu u hemijskim jednacinama, kao i neke mogucnosti primene prikazanih analogija.
