Charging the bottle of high pressure air isolation devices is performed by a high-pressure compressor. The charging time is in function of the compressor capacity and the intensity of the nominal pressure of the air in the bottle. However, in accident situations this time is long and therefore high-pressure accumulators are used where the filling time of the bottle of isolation apparatus has been drastically reduced. Due to the short filling time of the bottle through the air flow, there is a thermodynamic load of bottle material that could endanger the safety of users and other participants in the area. It is therefore necessary to determine the critical parameters of the rapid charge and their intensity.
This paper analyzes the influence of the Doppler Effect on the length of time to establish synchronization pseudorandom sequences in radio communications systems with an expanded spectrum. Also, this paper explores the possibility of using secure wireless communication for modular robots. Wireless communication could be used for local and global communication. We analyzed a radio communication system integrator, including the two effects of the Doppler signal on the duration of establishing synchronization of the received and locally generated pseudorandom sequence. The effects of the impact of the variability of the phase were analyzed between the said sequences and correspondence of the phases of these signals with the interval of time of acquisition of received sequences. An analysis of these impacts is essential in the transmission of signal and protection of the transfer of information in the communication systems with an expanded range (telecommunications, mobile telephony, Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS, and wireless communication). Results show that wireless communication can provide a safety approach for communication with mobile robots.

This paper presents a new approach to exploring bauxite deposits from underground mining works in the bauxitebearing mines of Bešpelj near Jajce in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the area under consideration, bauxite deposits have been investigated and exploited for over 60 years. Despite the high degree of exploration in the geologically complicated structures of Bešpelj, there are numerous unexplored reserves. Up to now, they have been mainly investigated by drilling from the surface into the borehole network as dictated by legal geological regulations. Due to the increase in depths on which deposits are located and complex structural relationships, such research has become more expensive and less effective. From a geological point of view, the bauxite deposits have developed in the horizontal position. However, longlasting geological evolution from the Upper Cretaceous to the present, has brought deposits in very di erent structural positions. That is why we nd them in an inclined position, in subvertical and vertical, and often in an overturned position. For further research to become rational and e cient, a new approach of study from underground mining works was developed that will serve for study and then for the exploitation of bauxite deposits.
Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and their tissue inhibitors (TIMPs) play a complex role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. We compared (1) the histopathological findings in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) and aortoiliac occlusive disease (AOD); (2) the expression of MMP-2/MMP-9 and TIMP-1/TIMP-2 in aortic layers, inflammatory cells and smooth muscle cells (SMCs), aiming to identify the common underlying pathogenic mechanisms of the disease development. Samples were obtained from 30 patients with AAA and 30 with AOD. Aortic histology and immunohistochemistry were performed to evaluate inflammatory changes and MMP and TIMP expression. Thrombosis and ulceration were more frequent in AOD than in AAA. The MMP-9 expression was elevated in all aortic layers of AAA patients and in media/adventitia of AOD patients, mainly followed by lower expression of its inhibitor TIMP-1. Higher MMP-9 expression was also found in SMCs and macrophages of both AAA and AOD specimens, while higher TIMP-1/TIMP-2 were Received May 3, 2017. Accepted February 3, 2018. Abbreviations: AAA – abdominal aortic aneurysms, AOD – aortoiliac occlusive disease, ECM – extracellular matrix, HE – haematoxylin-eosin, HP – histopathological, MMPs – matrix metalloproteinases, SMCs – smooth muscle cells, TIMPs – tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases. predominantly observed in the lymphocytes and macrophages of the aneurysm. These results showed that both conditions exhibited increased MMP-9 expression; however, the MMP expression pattern differed to some degree between the aneurysms and occlusive disease. The variations in molecular mechanisms underlying dilatative/stenosing disease warrant further investigation.
Implementation of IMRT offers possibility to escalate radiation therapy dose without increased acute and late toxicity. The aim of this study is to compare acute and late genitourinary and gastrointestinal toxicity in patients treated with IMRT and 3DCRT technique. This study included 35 patients in study group a treated with IMRT technique, and 35 patients in study group B treated with 3DCRT technique. Patients were selected and referred to radical radiotherapy treatment prostate cancer. Acute genitourinary and gastrointestinal toxicity was evaluated during radiotherapy treatment according to recommendation of RTOG group. Late gastrointestinal and genitourinary toxicity was evaluated during regular control exams after radical radiotherapy treatment for six months. Based on the results χ2 test there was no statistical significant difference (p>0,05) between study group a i B in terms of acute gastrointestinal and genitourinary despite escalated radiotherapy dose in study group B treated with IMRT technique. Based on the results χ2 test there was no statistical significant difference (p>0, 05) between study group a i B in terms of late gastrointestinal and genitourinary toxicity. Intensity modulated radiation therapy is optimal technique in the radical treatment prostate cancer. This technique allows clinical benefit compared with 3D conformal radiotherapy-escalation of radiotherapy dose without increased toxicity in patients treated with IMRT technique.
This study was carried out to examine the impact of liquid organic fertilizer Ergonfill (LFE) on the yield and quality of cherry tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. Sakura F1) under different growth conditions. The experiment was set up in a randomized blocks design with four variants in three replications. Experiment variants were as follows: drought-stressed seedlings with and without LFE treatment, and non-stressed seedlings with and without LFE treatment. Exposure of cherry tomato seedlings to controlled water stress conditions significantly increased fruit quality parameters (total soluble solids, titratable acidity, ascorbic acid, lycopene, total phenolic and flavonoids, total antioxidant capacity), but decreased yield. LFE treatment significantly increased by the all examined parameters under normal growth conditions as compared to untreated plants, and for total phenolic and flavonoids content, total antioxidant capacity and total soluble solids this increase was statistically significant. Positive impact of the LFE application on cherry tomato quality is result of fertilizer composition, as well as ability of cherry tomato plants to use bioactive substances in fertilizer for its growth and development.
