In today's world, many companies have employees from different countries, and they work together as virtual teams using technology. The leaders of these teams need to know how to manage their teams well, understand their unique skills and overcome challenges. Accordingly, we want to study the specific leadership style and its effects on virtual teams' success. Data for the study was collected from various companies that have online activities. Team members participated in surveys, providing information on how their leaders effectively motivated them to be productive and satisfied in their jobs. Additionally, the surveys examined team members' knowledge-sharing levels in their leaders and organizations. Based on the analyses, we found that transformational leadership positively affects virtual team performance but not knowledge sharing; however, knowledge sharing positively improves team performance.

The goal of this study is to raise awareness about the various risks associated with gambling. It will focus on the effects of gambling addiction on gambling intention and its implications for financial wellbeing. It is known from previous research that gambling influences the family’s functioning, as well as the work-related aspects of the individual’s life. The negative effects gambling has on the workplace are more severe, such as decreased work efficiency and theft. We were curious about these effects in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a country with many customers of gambling services. The rise of Internet and social media platforms has led to an increase in the number of people gambling. Our findings indicated that gambling addiction has statistically significant positive effects on gambling intention which consequentially has statistically significant, but negative effects on financial wellbeing of individuals. Considering this empirical evidence, we can recommend to related governmental and non-governmental institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to put this issue on their agenda and raise the awareness of society on negative effects of gambling addiction and gambling intention. On the other hand, we recommend future researchers to focus more on this important research problem and in that way provide foundations for solving the related social problem.

This study aims to empirically investigate the determinants of online banking adoption in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The data presented in this paper was collected via a survey from 321 randomly selected banking users in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The survey was developed based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework to test the constructs and their ability to predict consumers’ behavioral intentions. All gathered data was processed and analyzed using the AMOS software version 24. We performed the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for path analysis to estimate the strength of the hypothesized relationships among the determinants. The findings indicate a significant impact of Attitude, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Ease of Use on consumers’ Intention to Use online banking services. Further, the research has proven that Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use impact consumers’ Attitudes toward online banking adoption. The path analysis result suggests that Perceived Usefulness strongly mediates the relationship between Perceived Ease of Use and Attitude.

Background Bosnia and Herzegovina is among ten countries in the world with the highest mortality rate due to COVID-19. Lack of lockdown, open borders, high mortality rate, no vaccination plan, and strong domestic anti-vaccination movement present serious COVID-19 concerns in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In such circumstances, we set out to study 1) the willingness of general public to receive the vaccine, 2) factors that affect vaccine rejection, and 3) motivation for vaccine acceptance. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted among 10471 adults in Bosnia and Herzegovina to assess the acceptance or rejection of participants toward COVID-19 vaccination. Using a logistic regression model, we examined the associations of sociodemographic characteristics with vaccine rejection, reasons for vaccine hesitancy, preferred vaccine manufacturer, and information sources. Results Surprisingly, only 25.7% of respondents indicated they would like to get a COVID-19 vaccine, while 74.3% of respondents were either hesitant or completely rejected vaccination. The vaccine acceptance increased with increasing age, education, and income level. Major motivation of pro-vaccination behavior was intention to achieve collective immunity (30.1%), while the leading incentive for vaccine refusal was deficiency of clinical data (30.2%). The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is shown to be eightfold more preferred vaccine compared to the other manufacturers. For the first time in Bosnia, vaccine acceptance among health care professionals has been reported, where only 39.4% of healthcare professionals expressed willingness to get vaccinated. Conclusion With the high share of the population unwilling to vaccinate, governmental impotence in securing the vaccines supplies, combined with the lack of any lockdown measures suggests that Bosnia and Herzegovina is unlikely to put COVID-19 pandemic under control in near future.

The main aim of the study was to empirically investigate and understand the effects that autonomy has on job satisfaction and job performance in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The empirical data was obtained from a questionnaire of 242 people living and working in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Once the data was collected, data analysis was conducted to assure validity and reliability through items’ loadings and Cronbach’s Alpha values.Furthermore, the scales were tested for convergent validity through partial least-square path modelling using SmartPLS 3 software. The results indicated that the effects of autonomy on job performance and job satisfaction were significant and had positive relationship.

Internet enabled the emergence of social media platforms, opened new markets and changed the way businesses and organizations operate, communicate with their target audience, promote their activities and achievements. Non-profit organizations worldwide use social media platforms and strive to increase user engagement and the number of reactions to achieve their goals. Although in Bosnia and Herzegovina, non-profit organizations use social media platforms, there is no empirical evidence of their success in increasing user engagement and the number of reactions. This study investigates which social media factors have an influence on user engagement, particularly on the number of reactions on Facebook posts. The real data from the period of 15 months were collected from a Facebook business profile of a non-profit organization from Bosnia and Herzegovina. SPSS and Excel were used to analyze the data. According to the research results, the period of publishing and the number of photos have an effect on the number of reactions on Facebook posts, while the amount of text and the day of publishing do not have an effect on the number of reactions.

: Culture is shared assumptions, beliefs, attitudes, or beliefs that helps individuals or groups to respond various actions or events that they face in daily life. Besides, leadership is art of influencing others to achieve desired objectives in organizations. On one hand, the growing body of the literature argues the effectiveness of the transformational leadership. On the other hand, cultural background has different impacts on this leadership style. In this respect, current paper aims to point out some consequences of transformational leadership in various cultures. As a result, it has been observed that because of its charismatic and simulative characteristics, these leaders are more effective on developed countries and innovative characteristics rather than group oriented and depressed cultures.

Even though the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technologies have been significantly addressed in managerial literature, few studies investigated the topic in context of Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H). This study explores the ERP technologies adoption using a Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Accordingly, effects of Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness on Behavioral Intention and Actual Use of ERP technologies in B&H will be investigated. Valid and reliable structured survey has been prepared and delivered to companies in B&H which are using ERP technologies. Based on the recent literature, first order structural equation model has been proposed and tested. In total, 82 questionnaire responses have been collected from companies in B&H which are using ERP technologies. Factory data analysis has been performed to purify scales through items’ loadings and Cronbach’s Alpha values. The scales were also tested for Convergent validity through partial least-square path modelling using Smart PLS 3 software. Results indicated that effects of Perceived Ease of Use on Behavioral Intention and Perceived Usefulness are significant and positive. Business Innovativeness has significant effects on Actual ERP System Use while Perceived Usefulness does not appear to be predictor of Behavioral Intention.
