CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA PSICOPEDAGOGIA: REFLEXÕES ACERCA DA INTERVENÇÃO DOCENTE NO PROCESSO DE ENSINO

Psychopedagogy is the science studying human learning in both psychological and cognitive aspects. Therefore, it is presented as a relevant area of study to education, contributing to the pedagogical process. This way, this paper aims at discussing the importance of the work of the psychopedagogues in the schools, as professionals who work through an investigative process, in order to understand and intervene in the causes of school failure. The work of this professional is carried out in several sectors, such as teacher advisory in the planning of pedagogical interventions in the classroom; guidance to families, students; assistance to the pedagogical team; among others. This study will develop a bibliographical research seeking to understand the challenges currently faced in the struggle for quality public education so that students have access, permanence and success in their school paths; to appropriate historically accumulated scientific knowledge; to be able to situate themselves and understand the social context in which they are inserted; understand themselves as learning subjects, with the autonomy to make use of scientific knowledge as an instrument of intervention in their own reality.
